Oct–Nov and March–April are ideal. Avoid monsoon season (June–Sept) — roads flood and turn dangerous. Winter passes may be closed.

Valley roads are rough in places. Mountain roads are often narrow and unpaved — always check conditions before heading out.

Carry registration, driving license, and insurance at all times. Some border zones like Rasuwa require additional permits.

Fill up in Kathmandu before long rides. Petrol stations thin out fast on mountain roads. Carry a reserve on remote routes.

Full-face helmet is non-negotiable. Gloves, jacket, and boots highly recommended. Nepal's roads demand respect — gear up.
